Your information and FootballOS
FootballOS helps the adults who run your football team plan training, organise matches and keep the team connected. This page explains what that can mean for information about you.
What might be added?
A parent, guardian, coach or club organiser may add things such as your name, age group, team, playing position, attendance, fixtures, goals or match notes. They should only add what the team genuinely needs.
Who can see it?
Only people with the right job for your club or team should see private information. A parent should see only the children connected to them. Other clubs, unrelated teams and public community visitors should not see your private player record.
What should never go in an ordinary note?
Adults should not put medical details, private safeguarding stories, DBS information, home addresses or other secrets into training notes, match reports or community messages. A club has a separate safeguarding process for concerns.
How does AI work?
Some authorised adults can ask an AI tool for help with a session or football pattern. FootballOS tries to remove or replace children’s names before sending that information. AI gives suggestions to an adult—it must not decide whether you are selected, disciplined, safe or well.
You can ask questions
You can ask a parent, guardian, coach or club organiser what information they have and why. You can ask for something wrong to be corrected. You can also ask whether information can be deleted. They may need to keep some information for a good reason, but they should explain that clearly.
